Your Journey Day by Day
Arrival, Countryside Cycling, and Home Comfort (D)
Your arrival day focuses on settling in and embracing the peaceful environment of the Eco Lodge. Arrive at Cat Ba Eco Lodge (by your own arrangement or pre-booked transfer) between 12:00 PM and 2:00 PM.
Afternoon: Self-Guided Cycling. Upon check-in, receive your Complimentary Mountain Bike Rental for the full afternoon. Cycle the local paths through Lien Minh Village or explore the quiet roads leading into the National Park buffer zone.
Evening: At 6:30 PM, enjoy your first Home-Style Vietnamese Dinner at the lodge restaurant.
Night: Relax and enjoy the quiet sounds of nature, preparing for your big boat trip tomorrow.
Full-Day Lan Ha Bay Exploration (D, L)
Morning: Enjoy breakfast at the lodge (not included).
08:00 AM: Full-Day Lan Ha Bay Tour. A shuttle will pick you up from the Eco Lodge and transfer you to the harbor to board your boat. The full-day cruise will take you through the stunning, less-crowded Lan Ha Bay.
- Cruising: Sail past hundreds of limestone karsts.
- Kayaking: Enjoy a stop for kayaking through hidden lagoons and archways.
- Swimming: Enjoy swimming or relaxing on a quiet beach.
- Lunch: A fresh seafood and Vietnamese lunch will be served on board the boat.
17:00 PM: Return to Lodge. The boat returns to the harbor, and the shuttle bus transfers you back to the Eco Lodge.
Evening: Enjoy your second Home-Style Dinner at the lodge, sharing the highlights of your day on the bay.
National Park Adventure & Departure (B - Optional)
Morning: Enjoy breakfast at the lodge (not included).
08:00 AM: Check-out and Luggage. Please complete check-out formalities before 8:00 AM and store your luggage with the lodge staff.
08:30 AM: Half-Day Cat Ba National Park Tour. You will be picked up for your final half-day adventure, including transport, to explore the heart of the National Park. Your tour will feature:
- A moderately challenging trek up to Ngự Lâm Peak for breathtaking panoramic views of the entire island.
- An exploration of a major natural limestone cave, such as Trung Trang Cave, known for its stunning stalactite formations.
12:30 PM: Package Conclusion. Return to the Eco Lodge to collect your luggage. Your "Grand Explorer" package concludes here as you begin your onward journey.

To ensure a smooth departure, we are pleased to arrange the following private transfer services for you at an extra cost:
- Pickup to the Lodge (Day 1): From Hanoi, Ninh Binh, Cat Ba Town or Tuan Chau Pier.
- Drop-off / Onward Travel (Day 3): Transfer from the Lodge to Hanoi (City or Noi Bai Airport - HAN), Ninh Binh, or Cat Bi International Airport (HPH) in Hai Phong.
